Challenge
Managing the security risks with inner city construction while minimizing impact on the surrounding neighborhood were the key challenges of this urban redevelopment project.
Solution
- Genesis worked with local architects and its partners to ensure both homes met architectural requirements for the Martin Luther King Historic District.
- With 80% of the construction process completed off-site, on-site construction was kept to a minimum. The process helped to dramatically reduce security risks and ensured the new homes - and the construction process - made a positive impact on the neighborhood.
