Genesis Provides Housing for Island Community
Mike Flynn of Hamilton Pacific LLC, a highly respected developer of high-end properties in Southern California, selected Genesis to construct affordable housing exclusively for residents who live and work on Catalina Island. Due to its remote location, the high cost of materials, and a skilled labor shortage on the Island, modular building provided a great solution for the builder to keep costs under control. A prototype single-family home was first constructed showcasing the quality and affordability of modular construction to the community. With this successfully completed, Phase I consisting of 17 deluxe condominiums was begun. By employing efficient construction methods, residents are able to own a home featuring the finest appointments normally reserved for higher-end homes at a more affordable price.
