Genesis – the first and only true nationwide modular home builder in North America – is helping builders and developers meet the challenges of the homebuilding business. Faced with dwindling profits, lack of experienced crews and long construction schedules, builders and developers across the country are turning to the proven Genesis modular construction process to help them build high quality homes, faster and more profitably.
Genesis modular homes are built in eleven manufacturing facilities across the continental United States. With manufacturing in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, we can effectively provide housing solutions to nearly every state.
At Genesis Homes, we have extensive experience in the modular construction industry. We understand the unique building challenges each region presents – from design to engineering challenges, to regional and local inspection processes, to extreme weather conditions. And with our considerable resources, we can help you at every stage of the modular construction process, including providing experienced setting and finishing crews, as well as access to crane rental and refuse removal.
Whether you are an experienced builder with experienced crews or would prefer a more “turnkey” build, we can support you with the services and advice needed, no matter where you’re building modular homes.
Award Winning Designer
Many of our modular designs have earned top awards from such prestigious home building associations as The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI), and have also been featured in national publications such as Country Living and Popular Mechanics magazines.
As a leader in the modular construction industry, Genesis works hand in hand with a variety of industry associations and educational institutions. For example, we’ve been recognized by the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a nonprofit education and research institute with a focus on the use of land to enhance the total environment; and by the National Modular Housing Council (NMHC), the only national organization representing the interests of modular home builders.
Through our partnership with the Notre Dame School of Architecture’s Center for Building Communities and research projects with other educational institutions, Genesis is working with future architects to explore new possibilities on how to address urban community and renewal design needs throughout the country.
And on the global front, we’re continually sharing and developing new modular construction techniques and technology with our sister company Caledonian Building Systems in Europe, who are creating unique and innovative modular buildings, as well.
Genesis is part of the Champion homebuilding family – an international builder of modular structures and the largest, most respected modular home builder in U.S. This relationship provides us with 55 years of experience in the homebuilding industry as well as access to 28 manufacturing centers throughout North America. Champion has built more than 1.7million high quality homes to date. And in 2007 alone, we built more than 3,700 modular homes.
